  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup dill pickle slices, drained
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and water.
  3. In another shallow bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and paprika.
  4. Dip each pickle slice into the egg mixture, letting any excess drip off.
  5. Dredge the egg-coated pickle slice in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure it’s well coated.
  6. Place the coated pickle slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
  7. Spray the pickles lightly with cooking spray.
  8. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can double-coat the pickles. Dip in egg, then breadcrumbs, then egg again, and finally breadcrumbs again.
