- 8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a baking dish, combine the rinsed and drained chickpeas, crumbled feta cheese, olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Season with salt and black pepper to your preference.
- Toss everything together to ensure the chickpeas and feta are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the feta is softened and lightly golden, and the chickpeas are slightly crisp.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
