A viral TikTok recipe for baked feta pasta. It’s an incredibly easy and flavorful one-pan pasta dish.

- 2 cups cherry tomatoes
- 1 block (7-8 oz) feta cheese
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 8 oz pasta (like penne or rotini)
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the cherry tomatoes and feta cheese block in the center of a baking dish.
- Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes and feta.
- Season with oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tomatoes burst and the feta is soft and slightly browned.
- While the feta and tomatoes bake, cook your pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Once baked, remove the dish from the oven. Mash the tomatoes and feta with a fork to create a creamy sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta and minced garlic to the baking dish. Stir well to combine.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
- Stir in fresh basil. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Any short pasta shape works well.
- Add cooked chicken or shrimp for a non-vegetarian option.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
