Description
Simple and delicious burger patties perfect for grilling or pan-frying.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Gently mix ground beef, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Do not overmix.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
- Cook patties on a preheated grill or in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
Notes
- For best results, use cold ground beef.
- Avoid pressing down on the patties while they cook, as this squeezes out the juices.
