Ingredients

- 1 pound linguine
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the drained linguine to the skillet with the shrimp mixture.
- Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time if needed to create a sauce.
- Serve immediately.

- For extra flavor, add a splash of heavy cream.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
- Garnish with extra parsley and a lemon wedge.
