- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until browned on all sides. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add uncooked rice to the skillet and stir for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and milk. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper.
- Return chicken to the skillet.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Garnish with parsley if desired.

- For a richer flavor, you can use heavy cream instead of milk.
