A quick and satisfying one-pan meal featuring pierogies and kielbasa, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
- 1 (16 ounce) package frozen pierogies
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add kielbasa and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add pierogies and onion to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until pierogies are golden brown and onion is softened, about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Bring to a simmer and cook until broth has reduced slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- You can use any type of kielbasa you prefer.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
