- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked egg noodles
- 1 cup crushed potato chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, parsley, salt, and pepper. Cook until heated through.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cooked egg noodles and 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese.
- Spread the noodle mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour the beef mixture over the noodles.
- Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Sprinkle the crushed potato chips over the cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
Notes
- For a spicier casserole, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
- You can substitute other shredded cheeses like Monterey Jack or a Mexican blend.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
