Description

A simple recipe to make refreshing homemade fruit soda with fresh fruits and sparkling water.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh fruit (e.g., berries, peaches, melon)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Puree the fresh fruit in a blender until smooth.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the fruit puree, sugar or honey (if using), and water.
  3. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until the sugar or honey dissolves. Do not boil.
  4. Let the syrup cool completely.
  5. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  6. Pour about 2-3 tablespoons of the fruit syrup over the ice.
  7. Top with sparkling water or club soda.
  8. Stir gently and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Experiment with different fruit combinations.
  • Adjust the amount of syrup to your sweetness preference.
  • For a less sweet soda, omit the sugar or honey.
  • You can strain the puree for a smoother syrup.
