- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with fresh lemon wedges.
Notes
- For extra lemon flavor, you can add a few thin slices of lemon on top of the chicken before baking.
- If you don’t have lemon pepper seasoning, you can mix 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest with 1/2 teaspoon black pepper and a pinch of salt.
